Concepting and Kickoff

The first step is our Concepting and Kickoff meeting, where we discuss your vision, goals, and key messages for the video. This helps us align our creative direction with your expectations.

This phase typically takes about 1-2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and the level of detail required in the concept development.

It’s helpful to bring any branding guidelines, key messages, examples of videos you like, and any specific requirements or ideas you have for the video.

Yes, you will be assigned a dedicated project manager who will be your main point of contact throughout the entire process.

Pre-Production

In Pre-Production, we create storyboards, scripts, and style frames. We also search for suitable voice-over talent. This is where we plan out the visual and narrative elements of your video.

We encourage client involvement to ensure the final product aligns with your vision. You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve the scripts, style frames, and storyboards before we move forward. We do not move on till you give us the written approval.

Clients will have up to 6 choices of professional voice-over talents to choose from during the Pre-Production phase. If clients want multiple voice-overs this is an additional cost.

At Ventus, we create storyboards that are ready to be animated. They are fully illustrated, which helps speed up the process. This process can take upwards of 1-2 to even 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the illustrations.

Clients have up to 2 free revisions during the Pre-Production phase for scripts, style frames, and storyboards. Additional revisions beyond the initial two rounds may incur extra charges.

Yes, this is the best time to make changes. Once the storyboard and script are approved, major changes in later stages can be more time-consuming and costly.

Animation / Production

This is where the magic happens! Our animators bring the storyboard to life. In this phase, we also add in touches such as sound effects, the voiceovers, and music.

The timeline varies based on the complexity and length of the video but typically ranges from 1-2 weeks to even 4-8 weeks.

Yes, we provide regular updates through the project link we provide. There you can look over the progress and see what stage our animator is currently on.

Review and Delivery

We provide a review link where you can watch the video and provide feedback. We typically allow for 3 rounds of revisions to ensure the final product meets your expectations.

Clients have up to 3 free revisions to the finished product during the Review phase. Additional revisions beyond the initial three rounds may incur extra charges, depending on the amount of work or changes required.

We deliver the final video in the formats you need, whether for web, social media, or broadcast. Common formats include MP4, MOV, and AVI.

Yes, we can change the aspect ratio to fit social media platforms and mobile phones.

Yes, we can create cut-downs of the video using the same assets. These services can be added to the cost of the whole video, but the additional cost is minimal since new animation is not being created.

While we primarily focus on creating the video, we can provide guidance and recommendations for distribution strategies if needed.

We’re happy to discuss additional changes or updates after delivery, though these may be subject to additional fees based on the scope of the work.
